A safety focus

Our internal HSEQ department is designed to support an organisational culture of operational safety and service excellence for both employees and clients. Our specialized HSEQ team works across all our businesses to monitor performance by each division to ensure our operational sites and facilities are always working at the highest standards to be incident and accident free.

We take pride in our implementation of operational excellence strictly adhering to international standards and best practices. The HSEQ team helps our businesses uphold the quality of our service delivery to maintain our international certifications:

  • ISO 22000 and HACCP certification for Food Safety Standards
  • ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems
  • ISO 14001 for Environmental Management
  • OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety
  • ISO 10002 for Quality Management Client Satisfaction System

Strict adherence to procedure

All our operating company assets, systems and employees are frequently audited to ensure compliance and HSEQ performance. Our performance measures fuel a dashboard of metrics that assists decision-makers and operational teams to track variables such as hours lost, number of accidents, lost-time injuries, and number of hours worked. The Advanced HSEQ team takes a hands-on approach to our business units by assisting the setup of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring they are operating to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Training

Training is a key component to ensuring quality

In line with our commitment to quality and excellence, we have a dedicated training department that works continuously to enhance the skills of our workforce. Our dedicated training department ensures the quality of service delivery as our businesses work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment with the regular introduction of new standards and technologies. We stay at the forefront of the market by implementing best practices and upskilling our staff to world-class standards.

Most importantly, our training is an investment in our people to support their development and growth within the organization.

Our training department has two distinct arms:

Soft Skills Training

These programs deliver skills specifically designed to assist manpower being outsourced to clients. Technical training includes cleaning management sciences, food service and production, waitressing, health, hygiene and other vocational areas. Training programs are designed in collaboration with Learning & Development who feedback to us the findings of customer surveys to determine on-the-job performance for outsourced manpower.

Technical Training

The department also delivers “hard skills” MEP training to outsourced manpower as required by clients. The team selects capable consultants in specific areas of technical expertise, and invites them to deliver training programmes backed by evaluation and on-the-job monitoring.
